温州国际设计双年赛（原温州国际设计双年展）2016年至2023年，第一届到第四届是由中共温州市委宣传部、浙江安防职业技术学院联合主办，2024年第五届起由浙江安防职业技术学院独立主办。两年一届，分为优秀作品展、设计交流集市、设计讲坛（沙龙）等板块，集展览、集市、学术交流于一体。旨在展现和推广前沿设计理念和设计表达，注重设计与文化、科技、时尚、产业、经济的融合创新，促进创新成果的推广与转化，探讨设计支撑产业高质量发展之路。自2016年首届双年展成功举办，历时10年，已连续成功举办五届。2026年，为进一步强化设计竞赛的专业性与产业驱动力，经组委会审慎研究决定，将“温州国际设计双年展”正式更名为 “温州国际设计双年赛”。通过展赛不断加深温州设计与外界的交流、与世界的链接。进一步彰显温州文化互联共通、包容万象的品质与格局，成为世界了解温州文化的平台。

     The Wenzhou International Design Biennial Competition will be held from 2016 to 2023. The first to fourth editions will be jointly hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Wenzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Zhejiang Security Vocational and Technical College. Starting from the fifth edition in 2024, it will be independently hosted by Zhejiang Security Vocational and Technical College. Every two years, it is divided into sections such as Excellent Works Exhibition, Design Exchange Market, and Design Lecture Hall (Salon), integrating exhibitions, markets, and academic exchanges. Intended to showcase and promote cutting-edge design concepts and expressions, emphasizing the integration and innovation of design with culture, technology, fashion, industry, and economy, promoting the promotion and transformation of innovative achievements, and exploring the path of high-quality development of design supported industries. Since the first biennial exhibition was successfully held in 2016, it has lasted for 10 years and has been successfully held for five consecutive editions. In 2026, in order to further strengthen the professionalism and industry driving force of design competitions, after careful consideration by the organizing committee, it has been decided to shift the focus from exhibition core to competition oriented. Enhance the communication and connection between Wenzhou design and the outside world through professional competitions. Further demonstrate the quality and pattern of Wenzhou's cultural interconnectivity and inclusiveness, and become a platform for the world to understand Wenzhou culture.
